Vampire Weekend are currently on tour in support of their latest album Father of the Bride. After covering the Parks and Recreation theme and playing their L’Homme Run classic “Pizza Party” in Indianapolis, the band have continued to take requests at other dates. At their show Friday night in Cleveland, Vampire Weekend covered the Australian band Crowded House, performing their 1986 song “Don’t Dream It’s Over” as part of their encore, as Stereogum points out.

Vampire Weekend’s fourth studio album Father of the Bride was released last month following a whopping six singles: “Harmony Hall,” “2021,” “Sunflower,” “Big Blue,”  “This Life,” and “Unbearably White.” In addition to their ongoing North American and European tour dates, the band have brought their set to Fallon and Kimmel. They also unveiled a music video for the album standout “This Life” late last month. Watch the band cover Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over” below.
