Video: Jeremih – “London” ft. Stefflon Don and Krept & Konan

Even before he was kicked off of a co-headlining tour with PARTYNEXTDOOR after being accused of sending out a body double in his stead at a Houston show, Jeremih was an elusive figure. He spent years in the shadows after early hits “Birthday Sex” and “Down on Me” and his first two LPs, before returning with Late Nights: The Album last year.

But still, his promotion for the album was sporadic: For one thing, he released no music videos for the project, despite the fact that it contained Top 40 hits in “Don’t Tell Em” and “Oui,” and a close runner-up “Planez.” You’ll have to scroll back to the “6 years ago” section of Jeremih’s VEVO listings to find any official music videos for the Chicago singer.

So why return to the music video world for “London,” a less-than-hit from a mixtape that didn’t chart? We may never know the answer, but the timing is right for Jeremih to score a modicum of positive press after his tour disaster. Watch the sensual, neon-lit clip for the track, which co-stars grime stars Stefflon Don and Krept & Konan, below. And pay attention to Jeremih’s hats.
