Sigur Rós are bound for Westeros. Entertainment Weekly reports that the Icelandic art-rock trio will make a guest appearance on Game of Thrones next season. As of now, it’s unclear what kinds of roles the band — which is currently composed of Jón Þór “Jónsi” Birgisson, Georg Hólm, and Orri Páll Dýrason — will play on the HBO fantasy epic, but it’s been confirmed that the Kveikur crew are currently filming on set in Croatia. Here’s hoping that Sigur Rós actually have speaking parts on GoT, to make up for their wordless cameo on The Simpsons earlier this year.

Game of Thrones has a history of pulling talent from the world of music. Members of Coldplay and Snow Patrol have appeared on the show in the past, and the Hold Steady and the National have each recorded songs for the program that were written by Thrones mastermind George R. R. Martin. CHVRCHES also gave the drama’s theme song a synthy reworking, but that was an unofficial, too-much-time-on-their-hands sort of project.

The fourth season of Game of Thrones will premiere in the spring of 2014, likely a few months after Kim Gordon graces another HBO juggernaut, Lena Dunham’s Girls.
