Beyoncé has been suspiciously quiet for the past few months, though her appearance at tomorrow’s Super Bowl Halftime Show surely indicated to fans that something was brewing behind Parkwood Entertainment’s sealed doors. Lo and behold, welcome “Formation,” a brand new song and music video by Queen Bey herself that’s premiering now exclusively on Tidal. Download it for free here.

Watchful members of the Beyhive already suspected the song was coming, patching together a trail of evidence over the past several weeks, including closed-door rehearsal information leaks for tomorrow’s big show, a secret music video shoot in Los Angeles in late January, and a picture of a poster-board from last August that listed “Formation” among other popular Bey singles.

“Formation” is the first solo song Beyoncé has released since 2014’s “7/11” and “Ring Off,” bonus cuts from the re-release of her groundbreaking self-titled 2013 album. Watch for the song’s live debut tomorrow night during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
