Update: Entertainment Tonight reports that Beyoncé (and Bruno Mars, for that matter) will join Coldplay at the Super Bowl.
Coldplay are (cold)playing the 2016 Super Bowl, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal confirmed on Twitter. The band, whose latest album A Head Full of Dreams drops tomorrow, will take center stage at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, February 7. Last year, Katy Perry performed and was joined by Missy Elliot. No further details about Coldplay’s upcoming show have been revealed yet, nor do we know exactly what time the Super Bowl — which will air on CBS — starts.
