Future Goes High Fashion on Showy ‘Maison Margiela’ Single
Metro Boomin and DJ Spinz assist on the path toward 2014's 'Honest'
Jay Z can keep his “Tom Ford” and Migos can have their “Versace.” Atlanta rapper and Auto-Tune guru Future has shared a new song dubbed “Maison Margiela,” which is a shout-out to the French fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. That’s the same mark, in fact, responsible for Kanye West’s striking Yeezus tour wardrobe, from the multiple masks on down to the the holy pants.
The highly flossing Future cut was produced by DJ Spinz and Metro Boomin (an earlier version appeared on the latter’s 19 & Boomin mixtape) — as Complex points out, that’s the same trio responsible for the titular track from Future’s forthcoming Honest album. In other news, the man was most recently spotted making sci-fi love with Miley Cyrus in the “Real and True” video, and singing alongside Pusha T on “Pain.”
