Just ask anyone who’s ever had the misfortune of taking on Michael Jordan in a game of Connect Four: the great ones wanna win at everything. And so, Kanye West was filmed at an audition for the upcoming 15th and final season of American Idol, performing his own classic “Gold Digger.” Judge Jennifer Lopez — who, of course, gets namechecked in the song’s opening verse — was into it, to say the least.
