Sun Kil Moon and Jesu Will Release a Collaborative Album Later This Year

UPDATE: This is officially happening, due out February 19, 2016. Check out a track list below.

1. “Good Morning My Love”
2. “Carondelet”
3. “A Song Of Shadows”
4. “Last Night I Rocked The Room Like Elvis And Had Them Laughing Like Richard Pryor”
5. “Fragile”
6. “Father’s Day”
7. “Sally”
8. “America’s Most Wanted Mark Kozelek And John Dillinger”
9. “Exodus”

According to Jesu’s Justin K. Broadrick, the experimental post-metal band will release a collaborative album with Sun Kil Moon later this year. Though not much else is known at the moment, the latter’s Mark Kozelek is certainly no stranger to Broadrick, having released Jesu’s Opiate Sun via his own record label, Caldo Verde, in 2009. There’s also a pretty clear shoutout to Broadrick on Sun Kil Moon’s 2014 single “The Possum.”

Sun Kil Moon’s own Universal Themes, the follow-up to last year’s Benji, is due on June 2.
