Jack White and Robert Plant Covered Led Zeppelin’s ‘The Lemon Song’ in Argentina
Blues-rock greats collide at Lollapalooza Argentina
Jack White’s love for Led Zeppelin’s classic cut “The Lemon Song” has been apparent for a while, given the regularity that he’s trotted out a ripping cover of it on his Lazaretto tour. So it had to be a special moment for him this weekend at Lollapalooza Argentina when none other than former Zep singer Robert Plant turned up to sing on the track. If nothing else, it’s probably the closest thing you can get these days to seeing a proper Led Zeppelin rendition of the track. You can catch the collision between rock greats past and present it in full above, via Antiquiet. And hey, we’re now one step closer to that bonafide team-up that Plant apparently really wants to happen.
