American Horror Story: Freak Show, continued its trend of covering songs that were written decades after the show’s 1952 setting with Evan Peters’ gritty take on the Nirvana classic, “Comes As You Are.” The track, off of SPIN’s third-best album of 1991, Nevermind, was thematically on-the-nose for the flashy show, especially since it was sung by a character whose freak show name is “Lobster Boy.” FX hasn’t uploaded a high-quality video of the scene, but you can listen to the audio above.
