Jim James is currently touring in support of his recently released solo album, the spirituality-obsessed Regions of Light and Sound of God, and the My Morning Jacket frontman made sure to book a stop at the musical performance-based television show Austin City Limits. “I remember seeing Austin City Limits when I was just a little kid and seeing Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash and Neil Young and Willie Nelson,” James reportedly told the Austin American-Statesman recently. “Finally getting to do it yourself is one of those landmark things like doing Saturday Night Live.” Well, lucky for us then that this landmark is being live-streamed right now. Look up top to see James’ ACL performance as it happens (the broadcast started at 8 p.m. CST), and head down to find his upcoming tour dates.
