Roughing up haters, laying (sorry Sudge-fan) in the cut, not giving a fuck, and, oh yes, not-that-implicit sexuality. Our first glimpse of R. Kelly's guest spot on Lady Gaga's November 11 Artpop finds Chicago's R&B mastermind staying fairly close to type. A commercial for headphones and the big-box retail experience offers 30 seconds of "Do What U Want," a slinky synth-pop track on which Gaga also declares, "Do what you want / Don't stop, let's party / Do what you want with my body." The full song arrives as a digital single on October 21. Hmm, do you think the chorus might actually be Gaga's instructions to Jeff Koons for the album cover?
