Coldplay Share Behind-the-Scenes Super Bowl Stories and Perform on ‘The Tonight Show’

They played "Up&Up" and "A Head Full of Dreams"

Coldplay were the musical guests on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, and in addition to performing two cuts from their latest album A Head Full of Dreams, “Up&Up” and the title track, Chris Martin also shared some Super Bowl gossip. After joking that the U.K. band was “so high” during their headlining halftime show, the frontman explained that he had envisioned the theme of the performance as one of unity and togetherness, so Bruno Mars’ suggestion to have a dance-off with Beyoncé didn’t quite match his original plan.
