Mike Tyson Announces Black Keys’ New Album, ‘Turn Blue’

The Black Keys

Mike Tyson has announced the new Black Keys album Turn Blue via his Twitter. With just a simple link to the above trailer, we know that the follow-up to 2011’s Grammy-award winning El Camino is due out May 13 and confirms that the Black Keys are indeed rock musicians. Yesterday, Revolt TV reported that the Keys’ new single, “Fever,” would hit radio on Monday March 24. A representative for the band could not confirm that to SPIN though.

Turn Blue is the band’s eighth studio album and will doubtlessly be one of 2014’s biggest rock records. Over the past several years, the duo has risen to become festival headliners, and guitarist/vocalist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney have become in-demand producers. They’ve been working on the new album over the last year, but have taken time out, um, woo Stephen Colbert’s prostate and sponsor little league teams. So far, they have one U.S. date on the books: They’ll headline the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, running May 16 through 18.
