Ty Dolla $ign and Big TC Protest Police Brutality in ‘No Justice’ Video

Although he’s mainly known for his Lothario anthems, Ty Dolla $ign isn’t silent about his personal issues with the justice system. His brother, Big TC, is serving a life sentence for a murder Dolla $ign believes he didn’t commit. “Have you ever had a family member die?” he said in an interview about his brother. “It’s basically that. He’s basically dead. It’s like hell, almost.”

Ty Dolla $ign continues to take a stand against the justice system with the video for “No Justice,” which was released in three parts on Instagram. The song — which features Big TC’s vocals, recorded from prison — focuses on a frank truth about African-Americans’ relationship to law enforcement: “Ain’t nothing about us equal / You know that there could never be justice when killing us is legal.” The video includes graphic footage of the deaths of Philando Castile, Eric Garner, and, unfortunately, multiple others.

“No Justice” is the second single from Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming Campaign mixtape. Watch the three-part video below.
