Azealia Banks Gives Bossa Nova a Shot With ‘Chega De Saudade’

What’s unfortunate about Azealia Banks Twitter flare-ups — besides often being hateful — is how they overshadow her primary talent: Maximizing her eclectic tastes with her supreme songwriting ability. Banks delivered a reminder through a cover of “Chega De Saudade,” which is believed to be the first recorded bossa nova song. It’s her first release since the vitriolic attacks on Zayn Malik and 14-year-old Disney star Skai Jackson that led to her Twitter exile.
