The ever-tumultuous road to Willis Earl Beal‘s latest solo album Noctunes finally comes to a close on August 28. But after a cross-country move, another stint of homelessness, and an arrest for criminal mischief, that album is available to stream now. It’s a surprisingly subdued effort, given the tumult that produced it, building ambient pieces out of stretched-out keyboard lines and his own whispered vocals.
