Betty Who and De Lux Remaking “All of You” for Bonnaroo

Aussie pop singer, Betty Who, and L.A. disco-punk duo, De Lux, met up at the Gibson Showroom in New York City to work on a new version of Betty Who’s ”All of You” track, which they’ll debut in the Ford Backyard Experience at Bonnaroo this weekend.

The new 2015 Ford Focus believes in more. More to see. More to feel. More to hear, which is why it’s bringing fans this exclusive collaboration. Betty Who’s breakout single “Somebody Loves You” and album Take Me When You Go – which was on SPIN’s 50 Best Albums of the Year list and topped the 20 Best Pop Albums of the Year list – are built to make people dance, mixing throwback vibes and a modern flair all her own. The up-and-coming De Lux, meanwhile, have been compared to the Talking Heads and LCD Soundsystem, for good reason – you can hear traces of the edgy sounds and witty, soul-searching lyricism of James Murphy and David Byrne. Bandmates Sean Guerin and Isaac Franco made waves with their 2014 debut Voyage and will release the darker 11-track follow-up Generation on June 23. “At some point we realized creativity is just limitless,” Guerin said in a statement about the LP’s release. “You can do anything. There might be certain people who think, ‘Oh, you can’t do that.’ That’s when you say, ‘Well – I’m doing it!” And that’s also the spirit in which he, Franco and Betty Who worked together. These two acts working together makes perfect sense.

“It was so awesome getting to collaborate with the boys from De Lux. I’m so excited to see what comes out of this and perform the song together at Bonnaroo!” Betty Who tells SPIN, while De Lux adds, “We had a great time at Gibson Showroom collaborating with Betty Who on her track. She can play “In the Summertime” by Mungo Jerry on synths and we can’t. But if we keep practicing, I think we can do it.”

Fans will have to wait until Bonnaroo to hear the final result of the collaboration, but in the meantime check out photos and videos of Betty Who and the De Lux guys working on the track at the showroom. Given the talent involved, it’s sure to be a track that gets people off their feet and put on repeat.
