Canadian Politicians Jack the Nine Inch Nails Logo

You know what’s cool? Nine Inch Nails. You know what’s even cooler? Canadian politics. Now… imagine if you… combined them. Yeah, you read that right. It happened.

Three Canuck politicians — Alberta Premier Rachel Notley, Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson, and Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi — realized that the acronym of their last names matched up nicely with the logo for Trent Reznor’s industrial rock group, Exclaim reports. The trio, who are “building Alberta together,” unveiled their spin on the NIN emblem on t-shirts via Twitter.

It’s a little corny, but don’t let anybody try to tell you that Canadian’s aren’t self-aware, as the following Twitter exchange with Mayor Nenshi demonstrates.
