Twin Shadow Covered Sade’s ‘No Ordinary Love’ With Zoe Kravitz on ‘Seth Meyers’
It was the band's first live performance since their bus accident a few weeks back
Twin Shadow’s tour bus was involved in a terrible multi-car accident a few weeks back, which resulted in frontman George Lewis Jr. needing reconstructive surgery on his hand and a canceled tour. Drummer Andy Bauer is also still in the hospital. That said, the band deserves serious props for turning up to Late Night With Seth Meyers last night.
During the band’s televised performance, Lewis, whose hand was wrapped in a cast, performed a stripped-down rendition of “I’m Ready” (from the recently released Eclipse) and joined Zoë Kravitz in a cover of Sade’s 1992 single “No Ordinary Love.” Watch their cover above, and see “I’m Ready” below.
