Run the Jewels Made ‘Early’ Spooky For a Halloween ‘Letterman’ Performance
Killer Mike and El-P brought along Boots for their 'Late Show' debut
Capping off a surreal release week for their outstanding sophomore release Run the Jewels 2, Killer Mike and El-P made their network television debut on The Late Show With David Letterman on Friday night. Though Mike will be familiar to television audiences for his recent turns as a cable news talking head, the Letterman appearance functioned as something of a coming out party for the firebrand rap duo as they brought Halloween-themed flair to their stage show, courtesy a trio of spookily made-up backing vocalists. Beyoncé collaborator Boots also showed to reprise his guest turn on the track, making for a pretty special late-night TV performance. You can watch the whole thing above.
