Swedish electropop enigmas Little Dragon have released a thought-provoking new clip for “Underbart,” which stays with you for a few reasons, the most significant of which is that it features Don Bolles of the Germs serving tea in a green wig.
Helmed by Grant Singer, who also directed Ariel Pink’s skin-crawling video for “Picture Me Gone,” “Underbart” has singer Yukimi Nagano alternating between looking distressed at a kitchen table and leaping to life in a Sia-esque blonde wig on a bus. Interspersed between scenes of Nagano finding new ways to liven up her gloomy ride is a somber, green-wigged Bolles, who pops up occasionally to make ominous facial expressions alongside the Little Dragon singer.
