Watch Ariel Pink’s Uber-Weird ‘Picture Me Gone’ Video

Ariel Pink

Today in “What the actual hell?” news, lo-fi artist and professional weirdo Ariel Pink has released the macabre video for “Picture Me Gone,” a new track from his soon-to-be-released pom pom

The clip, which is directed by Grant Singer, features a cast of “female” characters in freaky rubber masks going about their daily lives. One goes to work, another goes to school, and a third hangs with her cat and has a near nip-slip at the beach. These “women,” aka a trio of dudes who bear a striking resemblance to the Onion‘s “Ideal-Woman Rubber Mask” parody, are named Pam, Candace, and Heather, and, according to a press release, are “squeezing into their second lives within a latex skin, in pursuit of sexual encounters and inner content.”
