Back in September, Jack White, Patti Smith, Conor Oberst, and many more took the stage at New York City’s Town Hall for “Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of Inside Llewyn Davis,“ a star-studded showcase built around the music of the new Coen Brothers film, Inside Llewyn Davis. The movie stars Oscar Isaac as a struggling musician moving through Greenwich Village’s early ’60s folk scene and opens in limited release on December 6. A week later, on December 13, Showtime will air the “Another Day, Another Time” gig as a concert documentary, and Vulture has snagged an exclusive clip from the upcoming broadcast: Jack White delivering an especially rootsy rendition of the White Stripes’ White Blood Cells classic “We’re Going to Be Friends.” Watch above, then read SPIN’s in-depth interview with Oscar Isaac.
