Foxygen co-leader Jonathan Rado — the Lennon to singer Sam France’s McCartney, if you want to go there — is prepping his debut solo album, Law and Order. The guitarist has already shared two songs from his September 3 Woodsist release. We’ve heard the hippie-dippie “Faces” and the frolicking “Hand in Mine,” and now the Southern California-based songwriter has gifted us a third. “Seven Horses” opens with gurgling, Grimes-ish electronics before settling into the kind of laid-back psych-pop Rado typically makes (and in France’s case, almost breaks) his bones with.
