See Ylvis' 'The Fox' Impeccably Covered by the Ohio University Marching Band

College football and Norwegian viral hits, together at last

Marc Hogan

Just when you thought you were sick of Ylvis' absurd viral smash "The Fox," here comes the Ohio University marching band. The Ohio University Marching 110 have previously taken on LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" and Psy's "Gangnam Style." As Deadspin points out, the Bobcats band debuted their rendition of the Norwegian duo's nonsensical Top 40 hit at halftime of their football team's September 14 game against Marshall University. And it's... really spirited and entertaining! You'll be mentally singing along despite yourself. Ohio University's cover was so good, in fact, it helped spur their football team to a 34-31 victory. What the fox says might be an "ancient mystery," but what the fox does is win. (Now if only Eminem could've been around for a live TV interview after the performance.)
