Reunited Veruca Salt to Tour After Record Store Day Release

Veruca Salt Reunion Tour Dates Record Store Day

As the ’90s nostalgia wave continues, the music world welcomes back one of the decade’s long-lost bands, Chicago alt-rock quartet Veruca Salt. You’ll remember them for their two biggest hits, “Seether” and “Volcano Girls,” and now the original lineup — co-frontwomen and guitarists Nina Gordon and Louise Post, bassist Steve Lack, and drummer Jim Shapiro — is back with a couple of new songs and a reunion tour.

On Record Store Day, Veruca Salt’s original label Minty Fresh will release the band’s 10-inch single featuring “Seether” and two new tracks, “The Museum of Broken Relationships” and “It’s Holy.” The tracks were produced by the group and Brad Wood, who manned the boards for their 1994 debut LP American Thighs. In June, the band kicks off its tour in Portland, Oregon, marking the first time all four original members have performed together since 1995.

“So much more to tell, but we’re too busy relearning all our old songs and recording new ones,” the band said on its official site. Check out the full list of shows below.
