In the new video for the Vaccines’ “I Always Knew,” singer Justin Hayward-Young finds himself on a Scrambler-style carnival ride with the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, model Dree Hemingway. As the Come Of Age single spools a light love story in the key of Strokes, the pair twirl around in a car at the end of a mechanized arm. They’re reserved at first, then let loose before the inevitable happens: the reality of their whirlwind romance sets in and they’re both left feeling a little ill. As DIY points out, “I Always Know” is getting a proper digital and 7″ release come November 11 via Columbia, and will include a B-side called “Make You Mine” written by the band’s drummer Pete Robertson. The Vaccines come stateside in January. Dates below.
