Speedy Ortiz will follow their breakout debut album with a new EP on February 11. Titled Real Hair, the forthcoming short-player features four tracks and was recorded and mixed by Paul Q. Kolderie (Pixies, Radiohead). According to a press release, the Real Hair EP moves beyond the knotty guitar-rock heard on this year's Major Arcana LP, drawing inspiration from "Top 40 and R&B radio." Frontwoman Sadie Dupuis revealed a love of chart-storming singles last month, with her lo-fi cover of Ciara's 2010 hit "Ride."

In an official statement, Dupuis compared the upcoming release to its full-length predecessor, saying, "While the last album was kind of a break-up jam, these songs are a lot more introspective-myself dealing with and talking to and making sense of myself."

Of course, all this talk isn't worth much without any new music. Luckily, Speedy Ortiz have shared the EP's lead single, the aptly named "Everything's Bigger." The other songs on Real Hair may in fact pull from the airwaves, but the first sample amplifies the blend of close-up vocals and chunky riffs that earned the Northampton foursome a Best New Artist distinction earlier this year. Listen below, then scroll further for track list details and a lengthy tour schedule.

Real Hair EP track list:

1. "American Horror"
2. "Oxygal"
3. "Everything's Bigger"
4. "Shine Theory"
