Amazon.com: Grinch-who-stole-christmas or Rudolph-like holiday savior? It all comes down to whether or not the online music purveyor is right about the release date for Eminem's highly-anticipated new album, Relapse.

The artist has yet to formally announce Relapse's release date, but the appearance of a December 23 tag next to the album's listing on Amazon [via MTV.com] has fans feverishly writing Santa -- and if history repeats itself, their wishes will be granted with a hefty dose of Slim Shady under the tree this Christmas.
UPDATE: Within the past hour, Amazon has removed the release date from its listing of Relapse.
