New Zealand's Lorde is currently streaming her much-anticipated debut album a full week ahead of its official release date. Due September 30 via Universal, Pure Heroine features the chart-dominating hit "Royals," downtempo art-pop tune "Tennis Court," and recently unveiled handclap-stomper "Team." Now, followers of 16-year-old Ella Yelich-O'Connor can feast on the full 10-track platter thanks to VH1. Speaking to SPIN recently, the noted Kanye West fan discussed the inspiration behind her follow-up to 2012's The Love Club EP, saying that she hoped to inject some authenticity into the pop scene. "I love Top 40 pop, don't get me wrong," she said, "I just don't think that there's anyone in Top 40 pop that's 'real.' Is there though? I'm just not sure... I mean that Miley Cyrus song ['We Can't Stop']. That could be her life. Who knows what's real? That's the point though; who knows what's real?"
The stream above is very real, that's for sure. Press the play button and heed Lorde's advice: "I want people to just listen to it and see for themselves."
