INTERVIEWSfun. Are Not Amused by Your Parodies of Their Big Hit

fun.
fun. looking as unamused as possible

Gotye is predictably not the only indie(ish) buzz act who's got a problem with people covering him. fun., whose chart-topping "We Are Young" has been parodied only about a bazillion times, wants you to know they are not amused by your shenanigans.

"I'm not going to go Coolio on the situation and say I'm not into parodies, but I'm going to say, chances are, it's not funny," frontman Nate Ruess told MTV. "Maybe I have a high standard for what's funny, but I'm just going to go with 'We Are Not Young,' [and] you probably are not funny." You hear that, Hunger Games guy? Watch the video interview (as well as a few of those unfunny parodies) below for proof.

While Ruess isn't too keen on fans' riffs on his band, SPIN found out recently that he's certainly stoked to talk about his own influences.
