The 20 Best Things We Saw at Coachella 2014

Coachella 2014 was undoubtedly the most guest-packed installment in the Southern Californian festival’s 15-year run. Justin Bieber shared the stage with Chance the Rapper. Beyoncé dropped by sister Solange’s set. Jhene Aiko summoned Drake. Pharrell raised Gwen Stefani (and Nelly, and Puff Daddy, and Snoop Dogg). Girl Talk brought out E-40, Too $hort, Busta Rhymes, and Juicy J. Jay Z dropped in on Nas. And Classixx’s set included appearances by LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang, YACHT, Preatures, and Superhumanoids’ Sarah Chernoff. And the booked talent was nothing to shrug at either, ranging from pop oddities like Lorde and Lana Del Rey to indie icons à la Neutral Milk Hotel and Arcade Fire. Oh, and OutKast. We hit Indio with the intent to see everything, and gathered the results for you here.
