Watch Arctic Monkeys' Voyeuristic 'Snap Out of It' Video

Grainy footage of Alex Turner makes a woman cry

Colin Joyce

Arctic Monkeys are deep in the midst of another leg of touring for their muscly 2013 album AM, and today they've released another striking visual for one of the cuts from that album, this time for the hypnotic "Snap Out of It."

Directed by Focus Creeps, the clip stars Miss Bala's Stephanie Sigman as a woman who, it would seem, has a pretty intense connection to the band. The actress sulks and saunters around before cooking a steak and settling in to watch some grainy in-studio footage of Alex Turner and company, at which point she bursts into tears.

It's a little voyeuristic and self-referential, as we watch Sigman watch the Arctic Monkeys, but it functions as an appropriate parallel to the track's tale of a lost lover.
