Watch Paul McCartney Perform With Neil Young at Desert Trip

Sir Paul McCartney and Neil Young shared the stage Saturday night at Desert Trip, the Indio, California festival of classic rock titans that’s perhaps better known as “Oldchella.” The two teamed up to play the Beatles’ “A Day in the Life” and John Lennon’s “Give Peace a Chance,” and, later, “Why Don’t We Do It in the Road,” which McCartney has never before performed live.

McCartney also played “I Wanna Be Your Man,” a song he wrote for the Rolling Stones, as a thank you to the Stones for covering the Beatles’ “Come Together” during their headlining set on Friday night. Watch below. [Stereogum]
