Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Roger Waters, and The Who are confirmed as performers at Desert Trip, the fest’s organizers GoldenVoice have announced. The headliners-only festival will gather every other festival’s legacy rock act in Indio, California from October 7 to October 9.
Desert Trip takes place at the same stomping grounds as GoldenVoice’s other festival, Coachella, and thus has been kindly dubbed “Oldchella” by the Internet. There won’t be any 1 p.m. shows by no-name bands: the big names are the only performers at the three-day event, and almost all of the venue will be seated. Dylan and the Stones perform on Friday night, McCartney and Young perform on Saturday night, and Waters and the Who close out Sunday.
Three-day general admission starts at a cool $399 ($699 for reserved seats) and tickets go on sale next Monday, April 9.
