Following the previous advance tracks, “Elektra” and “Françafrique,” Refused have released the third new song off the upcoming Freedom LP — their first since 1998’s totemic The Shape of Punk to Come. “Dawkins Christ” is probably the most true-to-form of the songs shared thusfar, even beginning with a slow build reminiscent of the famed “New Noise” intro, before exploding into a series of explosive guitar riffs and rumbling drum crashes, frontman Dennis Lyxzén shrieking “I shall dissolve!” Listen below, courtesy of BBC Radio 1, and check out Freedom on June 30, via Epitaph.
