Ryan Adams was a guest performer during the season finale of The Voice last night, trading verses on his song “To Be Without You” (from last year’s Prisoner) with Britton Buchanan, one the show’s finalists. Adams, clad in a Sonic Youth tee and flannel to freak the squares out, ripped a tasteful little solo at the end of the performance. Florence and the Machine also performed on the show, delivering a rendition of their most recent single “Hunger.” Earlier this month, Ryan Adams staged his star-studded cover performance of Exile on Main Street in New Orleans.
