Bon Iver haven’t released an album since their acclaimed 2011 project. That should change this Friday: According to Pitchfork, the indie group is expected to premiere their new album live at the Eaux Claires festival, frontman Justin Vernon and the National‘s Aaron Dessner’s annual extravaganza.
The band is using cryptic promotion to hint at a new project, which doesn’t have a publicly revealed title. Stereogum notes there’s a “22 Days” mural in Brooklyn, and the band’s YouTube page posted an abstract video titled “#22days” back in July. Something’s coming.
