Kendrick Lamar was a surprise guest at an educational event in Toronto yesterday, surprising the crowd with a performance of his new single “i” — the song’s live debut. Lamar, who just a few days ago performed with Prince, was the last person on stage at the We Day Toronto event at the Air Canada Centre. The event, which also saw speeches from Katie Couric and Nelson Mandela’s grandson Kweku, aims to inform students about important world issues.
