The 7-Inches for Planned Parenthood compilation is an ambitious collection of new and unreleased work by big indie and pop artists, strewn across a collection of singles. Sleater-Kinney and Foo Fighters released brand-new songs for the set, and Mitski covered a Frank-Sinatra-and-Billie-Holliday-famous standard. There are also contributions from Feist, St. Vincent, Bon Iver, Bryce Dessner, Jon Brion, Laure Anderson, Zach Galifianakis and more.
Sharon Van Etten‘s track is an unheard studio recording called “Passion and Love.” Her last new solo release was 2015’s I Don’t Want to Let You Down single and EP, and her previous LP was 2014’s Are We There. Listen to “Passion and Love” below.
