Lil Uzi Vert was arrested last week for allegedly leading Atlanta police on a chase on a dirt bike, according to TMZ. The Philadelphia rapper was reportedly charged with obstruction, reckless driving, driving without a license, and other traffic violations.
TMZ reports that Lil Uzi and a friend were riding the bikes, without helmets or lights on, through Atlanta late Thursday night. The two allegedly raced across five lanes of traffic, on sidewalks, and the wrong way down a one-way street before police gave chase. Lil Uzi reportedly tried to drive away from the officers but crashed. Police said he then tried to escape on foot before being apprehended.
Lil Uzi was released this past Friday after posting a $6,500 bond, according to TMZ.
