Gone Is Gone Announce Album, Debut New Song “Sentient”

Gone Is Gone, the supergroup made up of members of Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, and At the Drive-In, have shared a new song called “Sentient.” It debuted today during BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter. Listen to the show here; the Gone Is Gone premiere begins near the 1:42:00 mark.

The stormy “Sentient” is the first peek at Gone Is Gone’s upcoming debut full-length, Echolocation, which is due out January 6, 2017. Gone is Gone’s first release was an eight-song self-titled EP in July. Watch the band’s animated teaser for Echolocation below. [Pitchfork]
