Icona Pop Take Two in Their Second, High-Fashion ‘Emergency’ Video
Technically a gussied-up ad, but who's counting?
Though it’s been several years since Icona Pop dropped their Charli XCX collaboration, the career-changing “I Love It,” the Swedish duo have certainly not skimped on powerhouse singles since then. Last year’s siren-blaring “Emergency” was an overlooked gem of a tune, and now the Icona Pop ladies have released a second music video for the song (surely fan-demanded like Hilary Duff’s “Sparks” take two) in collaboration with Make Up For Ever and celebrity makeup artist Colby Smith. The visual finds the two women in a variety of high-fashion, heel-stomping moments, preening and fawning and showing off their highly done-up lips, brows, and lashes for the camera. Get into “Emergency” below.
