Miike Snow Get (Sort of) Territorial on Jangly ‘Genghis Khan’
It's the second listen off of their upcoming third LP, 'iii'
Unlike October’s bold and brassy “Heart Is Full” (their first song in three years, and one that suggested a post-synthpop direction), “Genghis Khan” is very much a return to form for the trio of Bloodshy & Avant and Andrew Wyatt. Over a crisp kick-snare-fill punch and sterling pianos, the Swedes coo and hoot in their signature falsettos about desperately wanting someone all to themselves, before admitting in the next verse that they haven’t actually made up their mind about it. Listen here.
