Earlier today, country singer (and soul-soothing songwriter) Kacey Musgraves released Pageant Material, her rich and evocative sophomore major-label LP that also happens to be SPIN‘s Album of the Week. To celebrate release day, the 26-year-old dropped by Good Morning America to perform the record’s jangling lead single, “Biscuits.” In typical Musgraves fashion, she brought a little salt and a little sugar to the spectacle — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
