The Compton rapper has set the video for “King Kunta,” latest single off second studio LP To Pimp a Butterfly, in his hometown, turning the entire city into a celebration: King Kendrick holds a Boyz n the Hood-reminiscent backyard BBQ, he struts across the ledge of the Compton Fashion Center like Drake on the “Started From the Bottom” billboard, he cruises around in a low rider with hydraulics, and he assumes his literal throne in his own backyard.
