Kendrick Lamar’s New Album Is Called ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’
The follow-up to 'good kid, m.A.A.d city' will be out March 23

Update 2: The rapper has confirmed that the title of his new record is ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ in a new interview.
Kendrick Lamar has finally announced his long-awaited follow-up album to 2012’s good kid, m.A.A.d city. Set to be released on March 23, [Untitled] (its current name according to its preorder page) is now available for presale on iTunes. Not much else is known about the LP, except that it’ll consist of 16 songs, including the previously teased track “The Blacker the Berry” — and may feature his Colbert Report song, also called “Untitled.” Read SPIN’s 2012 cover story on Kendrick Lamar, Not Your Average Everyday Rap Savior.
