Florence and the Machine Tease New Album With ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ Video
The clip keeps the music mostly under lock and key, but what's there is promising
Early this morning, Florence and the Machine released the first official tease of their upcoming third LP in the form of “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful,” a mostly orchestral music video that features lead singer Florence Welch belting the titular lyrics and nothing more. Directed by Vincent Haycock and Tabitha Denholm, the stunning visuals feature Welch battling an alternate version of herself in a swirling tapestry of colors and lighting.
The as-yet-untitled album — which is rumored to be called What Kind of Man (though that might also just be the name of the single) and was recently played in full in London — will be the band’s first in four years, following 2011’s Ceremonials. We’ll post updates as we have them.
