Jack White Casts a Bluegrass Spell on Dean Fertita’s ‘Parallel’

It's the B-side to the 'Lazaretto' cut "Would You Fight For My Love?"

Shortly after releasing the piano-pounding Lazaretto track “Would You Fight For My Love?” as a 7″, Jack White has unveiled that single’s B-side: a country/bluegrass cover of Dean Fertita’s “Parallel.” A touring member of White’s band, and a member of the Dead Weather and the Raconteurs (and Queens of the Stone Age too), Fertita initially released the electro-Americana single in 1999 on his Hello=Fire disc. Hear White’s cover below.
